4:55 AM. Up.
Cat in face.
Find coffee.
Enjoy silence and darkness.
Day 4: WRITE!
For better or worse–foolishly, to be sure–I’m writing Endgame‘s sequel Destruction for NaNoWriMo. (Sharpshooter June Vereeth and Co. begin the story looking for a downed ship lost somewhere atop 3000-ft rock towers in the fog–without technology and with Mitasterites coming. Big fat fun!)
Yup, I’ve had worse ideas. Since I’m not working full-time at the moment (but I’d like to be!) this is a good opportunity. Raking, driving kids to school and soccer, washing dishes, sorting bills–all good brainstorming times.
“I’m not gonna waste my shot,” as Mr. Miranda says in “Hamilton.”
Cue the fun music!
